The Study Program Manager is mandated by the Departmental Board to carry out the core duties relating to the education provided by the department. He heads the Applied Physics Education Office (OITN).

The OITN is the point of contact for students and lecturers. It organizes the education and supervises its implementation. The OITN is involved in all matters concerning education, both as regards its content and its organization.
